A body has been found this morning on the steps of the Mount Eden local board office in Auckland.
Police would not confirm if the corpse, which was discovered wrapped in a grey blanket, was that of a man or a woman.
There are four officers at the scene on Dominion Road and the front of the building has been cordoned off.
Authorities said it was too early to say whether they're treating it as suspicious.
