Man dies in accident on bike track in Takaka

A man has died following an accident on a bike track in Takaka this afternoon.

Police say the incident on the Rameka bike track was reported to them shortly before 3pm.

The man has been named as 52-year-old Antoni Robert Langtry of Fielding.

Police say his death has been referred to the coroner.
