A man critically injured after being hit by a car in Blenheim yesterday afternoon has died as a result of his injuries.

Police say the man died in Wellington Hospital this afternoon.

The crash occurred crash on Nelson St, near Hutcheson St in Blenheim at about 1.20pm yesterday.
