A teenage boy has been charged with stabbing another student in the neck with scissors at an Invercargill high school.
Police say the 14-year-old Southland Boys’ High School student stabbed a fellow student yesterday afternoon at 2pm.
According to police, the injuries are not life-threatening and the boy is recovering well in hospital.
The 14-year-old appeared in Invercargill Youth Court this morning charged with Wounding with Intent to Cause Grievous Bodily Harm.
