All Blacks fullback Ben Smith shut down questions about his rumoured switch to French club rugby, instead wanting to only talk about this weekend's Test with England at Twickenham.

Smith, 32, has been linked with a big money move to French Top14 side Pau, reportedly agreeing terms to join the club after next year's World Cup.

Speaking to media in London this morning though, Smith was keen to avoid any notion of his impending move.

"I'm not looking too much further ahead than this week," he began.

"After the tour, I'll probably look to sort that kind of stuff out."

Smith, along with a host of other All Blacks stars will be high profile targets for European clubs leading up to and after the 2019 World Cup in Japan.
