Shooter remains at large after 21-year-old targeted in drive-by shooting in Lower Hutt

A man was shot from a passing vehicle in Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt early this morning.

The shooting happened at around 2:30am on Hanson grove.

The 21-year-old victim sustained serious injuries but is now in hospital in stable condition.

Police have completed their scene examination in Hanson Grove and the scene guard is no longer in place.

The shooter remains on the loose and police urge for anyone with information to contact Lower Hutt Police on 04 560 2600.
