Kids caught running away after suspected arson causes large fire at old scouts hall in Bay of Plenty

Firefighters are currently battling a large fire that broke out in an old scouts hall in Opotiki, Bay of Plenty.

Emergency services were contacted just after 3:30pm today.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and some children have been apprehended after being seen running away from the building.
