Man seriously injured in drive-by shooting in Lower Hutt

A 21-year-old man has been seriously injured after a drive-by shooting in Lower Hutt early this morning.

Police were called to a property on Hanson Grove, Stokes Valley, at 2.30am after the man was shot.

The man is in a serious but stable condition.

A scene examination is taking place this morning, a police media spokesperson told 1 NEWS.

He said police are yet to establish if they are searching for a single shooter or multiple offenders.
