Trio rob Christchurch liquor store at gunpoint taking cash, alcohol, cigarettes

Police are seeking information after three men robbed a Christchurch liquor store last night at gunpoint.

The robbery occurred at around 10pm when three men entered the North Avon Rd Bottle O in Richmond armed with a gun and a metal rod.

After threatening staff, they stole cigarettes, alcohol and approximately $1500 in cash before fleeing the scene in a white Mazda Familia.

The men were wearing masks and grey, white and green hoodies.
