A Wellington man has designed a method that may well be the future of raising money for charity.
The One Percent Collective lets people donate one per cent of their income via online banking or credit card to their favourite charities.
The organisation says that all the money donated goes directly to the charity.
"I had friends saying they didn't enjoy being harassed on the street, they didn't enjoy phone calls during dinner," One Percent Collective founder Pat Shepherd said.
"We've looked at what the donors want, and how we can build an experience around that."
The idea is a one-stop shop for donations that he then distributes around different charities.
All aimed at taking the pain of fundraising away from those the front line.
