The World of WearableArts is celebrating its 30th anniversary this week.

The iconic New Zealand fashion show started in Nelson three decades ago but is now held in Wellington.

Thirty years is a long time to stick at art projects - especially for no money and possibly no recognition.

So, what do they get out of it?
