Sonny Bill Williams' next boxing opponent has been confirmed, with the All Blacks star midfielder to square off against Stu 'the Bachelor' Laundy in Sydney on December 1.
Williams, 33, will step back into the ring after the All Blacks' end of year tour, taking part in a charity fight to raise funds for the Exodus Foundation in Australia, and the Auckland City Mission.
In the opposite corner, will be Laundy, 44, a contestant on the last season of Australia's 'the Bachelor'.
After three years out of the ring, Williams will again don the gloves in "the banger under the hanger," fighting under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
"I'm looking forward to getting back in the ring again. I know this will be a hard fight for me after being out of the ring for 3 years," Williams said.
"Some people will say I'll be rusty. But I can't wait! I know I'll put on a good show and the cause is a great one. It feels good to be giving something back."
The fight is a sanctioned world title fight, with the winner to be crowned the 'World Heavyweight Champion of the Homeless and Needy.'
Aside from Williams, a star studded undercard is also promised, with a number of big name sporting stars to step into the ring for a good cause.
