All Blacks hooker Dane Coles' return to rugby took another step forward today, taking part in his side's training in Wellington this morning.
Coles, 31, hasn't played since November's knee injury suffered against France, but he's been a part of the All Blacks' squad during this year's Rugby Championship.
Taking the field with the rest of his teammates in preparation to face South Africa in the capital on Saturday, Coles took part in some light contact work, as well as some passing drills.
It is unlikely that Coles will feature for the All Blacks on Saturday, coach Steve Hansen hinted earlier this week that the dynamic hooker isn't far away from his comeback.
The All Blacks side to face South Africa will be named on Thursday morning.
