Waisake Naholo made the day extra special for one lucky All Blacks fan, holding a Nelson toddler for a picture then signing his replica jersey as a memento.
The touching moment came at a fan meet and greet ahead of the Argentina Test in Nelson tomorrow night.
A free sausage sizzle kept the adoring crowds well fed and the All Blacks' stars were more than happy to sign autographs and interact with fans.
Sonny Bill Williams also made time to speak with a Nelson five-year-old who couldn't hide her smile while chatting to the cross-code star.

"Hello cutie, what's your name?" asked Williams.
The young fan didn't shy away from Williams' questions and appeared happy to talk to the injured midfielder.
"Jasmyn, that is a beautiful name.
"Sometimes school is a little bit hard aye? Well have a good day Jasmyn."
Williams has two daughters and an infant son, born in June to wife Alana.
The All Blacks are undefeated in 2018 in the Rugby Championship and face off against Argentina tomorrow night at Nelson's Trafalgar Park.
