Man dies after being struck by car near Hamilton

A pedestrian hit by a car near Hamilton last night has died.

The 41-year-old man struck by the vehicle shortly before 9pm last night on Koromatua Road.

He was taken to Waikato Hospital in a critical condition but later died.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
