The transport agency is warning motorists travelling along State Highway 1 down south this weekend to expect more traffic on the roads and delays to travel times, as fans of Pink head to Dunedin for her concert at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

A few months ago when Ed Sheeran was performing in Dunedin, traffic was gridlocked and the journey from Christchurch to Dunedin doubled in time for some motorists.

NZTA aren’t predicting the volumes of traffic to be as much as back then though, as Pink only has one concert.
