'Legislation needs to change': Daughter fights for review in Alzheimer’s care

Aucklander Grace Taylor is better known for her work in spoken word poetry, but now she's now embarking on a more personal journey, for her mother's health.

Ms Taylor's mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's last year, but she was denied financial assistance, because of a care subsidy criteria that, she says, is in much need of a review.

Tagata Pasifika reporter Alistar Kata investigated why Ms Taylor and her family were denied the residential care subsidy for their mum’s care.
