Hamilton bus services are set to be disrupted today as bus drivers take industrial action.

First Union members have given notice to Go Bus Transport that they will strike for the whole day from 6am.

Waikato Regional Council are working with Go Bus to minimise inconvenience to passengers.

Public transport manager Andrew Wilson says it is possible changes will be made throughout the day, but updates will be posted on their Facebook page and website.

All regional services and The Orbiter will run as normal.  The 29 Hamilton Gardens service is not operating.

All other Hamilton bus services will operate on limited timetables.
