'Dangerous' man with Tribesman facial tattoo who has links to Auckland, Northland wanted by police

Police are appealing to the public to help them find a man who is considered dangerous over "dishonesty offending".

Te-Moananui Aakiwa Tauhara-Hoeta, 24, has a distinctive Tribesman tattoo on his left cheek, Amarlia’tattooed on his left jawline and the letter M on the back of his hand.

Police say he is considered dangerous and should not be approached. They believe he has links across the Auckland area, particularly North Shore and Northland.

Tauhara-Hoeta is 185cm tall and of medium build.

Police urge members of the public to call 111 immediately if he is sighted.

Alternatively, information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
