Watch: Police investigating after man clocks 200km/h while driving motorcycle through Port Hills

A Christchurch man is under investigation by police after posting a video test driving a motorcycle while clocking speeds of 200km/h.

The video, which was posted to YouTube on Saturday, shows the man driving a Honda Hornet CB919 through the Port Hills while "avoiding idiot roadusers lol [sic]", Stuff reports.

In the seven-minute clip, the motorcyclist is heard using expletives as he drives along yellow lines to pass two cars and a cyclist.

A police spokeswoman told Stuff the incident has been reported and "inquiries were ongoing".

"Police would like to remind drivers that our roads are not a race track," she added.
