Two people hospitalised, one in critical condition, after Wanaka crash

Two people have been hospitalised, one in a critical condition, following a crash near Wanaka this morning.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of SH6 and SH8B around 11am.

Police say one patient is being airlifted to hospital, while another is being transported via ambulance.

The road is closed and a detour is in place via Shortcut Road.
