Police were twice called out to reports of students fighting at a South Auckland college this afternoon.

Police were called to Rosehill College in Papakura after reports of several students fighting at about 2.09pm, Inspector Tony Wakelin of Counties Manukau Police told 1 NEWS.

A number of Police staff attended, however those allegedly involved had dispersed, he said.

Police were carrying out area inquiries on surrounding streets when they were called back to the college again just before 2.40pm.

But there was no students fighting when police arrived, Inspector Tony Wakelin said.

Police remain at the school and are making inquiries, he said.
