Music sensation Usher looking forward to 'eating the food, meeting the people' during NZ visit

American rhythm and blues sensation Usher is set to perform in Auckland in November.

TVNZ1 Seven Sharp host Hilary Barry spoke with Usher today as he eyes his first trip to New Zealand in a long-time.

Usher says New Zealand is one of his "favourite places".

"I love the food and amazing wine, I may be able to bring my kids".

He says he's looking forward to "eating the food and meeting the people".
