New Zealanders' romantic habits are changing. 

There are dating apps like Tinder and Grindr, and dating habits are changing too.

So who should pay on the first date? The guy or the girl? What if it's two guys or two girls?

Seven Sharp's Tim Wilson spoke with The Love Coach Adriane Hartigan about dating etiquette.

Hartigan says you should pay for yourself, no matter what. 

"Communication is the key word here," she says.
