Under Mark Rudan the Wellington Phoenix have added a bulk of experience to their squad - none more than in the case of former Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor.

Taylor was Rudan's first foreign signing.

The 32-year-old defender sat down with 1 NEWS reporter Dewi Preece to explain how his move to the capital came about.
