One person dead following Palmerston North crash between car and motorcycle

One person has died following a crash between a car and a motorcycle in Palmerston North today.

The incident occurred on Armstrong Street near Tremaine Avenue, in Roslyn, around 7.30am.

A man was taken to hospital but has since died. 

Police did not say whether the victim was riding the motorbike or in the car. 

The serious crash unit is investigating.
