Large slip blocks West Coast highway

A slip has blocked a section of a highway on the West Coast.

State Highway 6 Upper Buller Gorge remains closed till at least midday today due to a slip at Lyell.

Contractors have been working to clear the matter since heavy rain brought it down on Sunday night.
