All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has hinted he won't stick with the same 23 players for a third week after the All Blacks sealed a series win over France in Wellington tonight.
With the scrappy 26-13 win in the Cake Tin, the All Blacks claimed a 2-0 series lead in the best-of-three series heading into the third and final Test in Dunedin next week - a match Hansen said could now be used as a testing ground.
"We'll stick with the plan,"
"We've just won the series... if you go to the risk and reward cupboard, there's some benefit now in taking some risks and making some changes.
"Part of our job was to win the series and the other part is to grow and develop the team."
One player hoping to make the squad is recovering midfielder Sonny Bill Williams who has been training with the team over the past two weeks despite a recent minor surgery on his knee.
"I'll be fighting for selection next week," he told 1 NEWS.
"A little bit surprised myself... the surgery went well, it was a success and they said I could get back on the horse straight away so here I am."
The All Blacks could also be forced to make a change at first-five after regular No.10 Beauden Barrett failed a HIA when he come off the field from his dangerous collision with red-carded Frenchman Benjamin Fall.
