Firefighters have extinguished a classroom fire which broke out at Westlake Girls High School in Auckland this evening.

A number of trucks were called on to deal with the fire at Westlake Girls High School. (Source: Other)

Fire and Emergency services were called around 6:50pm regarding a fire at the college near Takapuna.

A Fire spokesperson told 1 NEWS the roof of a classroom was on fire but has now been extinguished. 

An ambulance attended the scene but no one was injured.
