Man's body pulled from the water in Porirua

A man's body has been recovered from the water near a cruising club in Porirua this afternoon.

Police say the body was found near Mana Cruising Club in Paremata around 11am this morning.

They were notified about the incident by a member of the public.

The Police Maritime Unit and Dive Squad attended and recovered the body.

There are no suspicious circumstances and the man's death has been referred to the Coroner
