Kiwi cyclist George Bennett moves into top 10 of Giro d'Italia

Kiwi cyclist George Bennett has rocketed into the top 10 of this year's Giro d'Italia, after grabbing a fourth placed finish on the sixth stage of the Italian tour overnight.

Bennett, 28, produced another solid ride, finishing with a time of 4:16:37, just 26 seconds behind stage winner, Esteban Chaves of Colombia.

The Kiwi rider currently holds ninth position on the overall Giro d'Italia leaderboard, one minute and 11 seconds behind leader, Simon Yates of England.
