Former Wallaby and social commentator Peter FitzSimons has urged Israel Folau to do his talking on the pitch, in the wake of another controversial social media post from the embattled fullback.
Folau, 29, courted even more controversy earlier this week, sharing an 11-minute sermon from American evangelist David Wilkerson, including calls for repentance over same-sex marriage, coming after last month's declaration that that gay people would go to "hell".
Appearing on his '5 Minutes with Fitzy' segment, FitzSimons pleaded for Folau to "Shut the ruck up," after his latest scandal.
"Israel, we need you to pull your head in," FitzSimons said.
"When you put out this vile crap you are marginalising a section of the community that don't deserve to be marginalised.
"Rugby is in real trouble right now, of all the times to pull your head in, now’s the starting point."

FitzSimons also hit out at Rugby Australia's appeared lack of action towards Folau, insisting the game's governing body in Australia must bring the star into line.
"I've just come from New Zealand…they've taken me aside and said 'what's going on? Why isn't the administration taking him aside and getting this finished?'"
