Hurricanes star Nehe Milner-Skudder praised teammate, centre Matt Proctor, following his stellar performances so far in 2018.
Proctor, 25, has emerged as a key player for the Hurricanes so far this season, beating out competition from the likes of Vince Aso, Jordie Barrett and Ben Lam to establish himself as his side's first-choice in the number 13 jersey, reaching the milestone of 50 games for the club in the process.
Speaking at Hurricanes training today, Milner-Skudder spoke about the influence that the underrated Proctor holds within the side.
"He's a bit of an unsung hero," he said.
"The amount of work he gets through goes unnoticed, and for him to notch up 50 games on the weekend - he just went about his business as usual.
"Hopefully he just keeps doing what he's doing, and can kick on from there."
