Hillary Clinton thanks Kiwis for offers to ‘permanently relocate’ to NZ following shock election loss to Donald Trump

Hillary Clinton has jokingly thanked a handful of New Zealanders for their offers to "permanently relocate" here after her shock loss to Donald Trump in the 2016 US election.

Speaking to at an event in Auckland tonight Ms Clinton said: "I want to thank some of you for sending good wishes during my campaign".

"I received a number of invitations from Kiwis to permanently relocate her."
