Kiwis centre Dean Whare has delivered the biggest hit of the NRL season so far, laying out Benji Marshall's brother with a brutal tackle in the Panthers' 22-14 win over the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs were looking to pounce late in the match by shifting the ball to the right but Whare broke the line to come in and nail Jeremy Marshall-King.
Marshall-King didn't even see it coming as he was keeping an eye on the incoming pass when Whare lined him up perfectly.
The hit sparked a buzz on social media from current and former NRL stars alike.
That wasn't the only fuse lit though as a small scuffle broke out on the field afterwards which resulted in Bulldogs prop David Klemmer getting sent to the bin.
With the win, the Panthers move to second on the NRL ladder.
