Watch: Kiwi player's adorable young son grabs mic, upstages dad during interview

Kiwi Kenny Bromwich may have helped Melbourne Storm to a thumping 50-10 Anzac Day win over the Warriors but he was completely upstaged by his adorable young son during a post-match interview.

Bromwich’s baby, who was celebrating his birthday, clearly thought the mic was his present during the interview with the Storm’s in-house media team, repeatedly grabbed it and forcing the interviewer to withdraw it.

“It’s his birthday today so I think he thinks it’s his,” a grinning Bromwich says at one point.

“Go eat it, ahhhh, that’s not food,” the doting dad signs off with.

The reigning NRL premiers jokingly wrote on their social media accounts: "Fair to say we had some technical difficulties during this interview last night."
