Police seeking woman who jumped from van, ran to florist, in relation to Te Puke assault

Police want to speak to anyone who saw a woman jump from a van in Te Puke last Thursday afternoon in relation to a serious assault.

At approximately 2.08pm, a woman jumped out of the red Mazda MPV on Jellicoe Street at the corner of Oxford Street, in the Bay of Plenty town.

She then ran towards The Florist Shop on Jellicoe Street.

Police are seeking anyone who saw the woman or the Mazda MVP, which has a registration GWJ482.

Police urge anyone with information to contact Tauranga Police station on 07 5774300.
