Watch as David Nyika's friends and family serenade gold medal-chasing boxer with Kiwi classic Tutira Mai outside stadium

Kiwi gold medal chasing boxer David Nyika cut a relaxed figure today ahead of his gold medal fight at the Commonwealth Games today.

Nyika will fight Australian Jason Whateley in the 91kg final, looking to back up the gold he won at 81kg in Glasgow.

Before the fight he was enjoying a coffee with friends and family, who sung the Kiwi classic Tutira Mai to get themselves amped up.

The fight is down for 4.47pm NZT.
