Man charged after entering Christchurch pharmacy with knife, demanding prescription medication

A man will appear in Christchurch District Court tomorrow charged over the robbery of a pharmacy.

Police say in a statement: "A 28-year-old man will be appearing in Christchurch District Court tomorrow on an aggravated robbery charge".

The man entered the pharmacy in Templeton yesterday afternoon armed with a knife, demanding prescription medication.

He then left the pharmacy and went down Mahoe Street.

No one was injured in the incident.
