Kiwi legend Neil Finn is set to join rockers Fleetwood Mac on their next tour.
The former Crowded House and Split Enz frontman is replacing Lindsey Buckingham after a disagreement with their upcoming tour.
Finn was invited to join the band two weeks ago and was playing music with them several days later.
"We sounded good together - It was a natural fit.
"I can't wait to play some more," he told 1News.
Mick Fleetwood, drummer and co-founder of Fleetwood Mac, says the band's chemistry with Finn "really worked".
"[We] let the band realise that this is the right combination," he said.
Upcoming tour dates have yet to be announced.
