Sudden death at Christchurch residence leads to large police presence

A large police presence has been congregated outside a Christchurch house today after a sudden death there this morning.

Police were called to a residential address on Exeter St in the suburb of Merivale at 11.40am today.

The circumstances around the death are not yet known, and Police are working to notify the next of kin.

A large police bus is parked on Exeter St, as well as a police tent and lights.
