A truck carrying corn has slammed into a bridge in Canada causing a spectacular explosion which was caught on camera by another motorist.
The accident happened yesterday morning (local time) on a highway in Repentigny, Montreal, when a truck barrelled into a pedestrian bridge with its back-end dumpster full of corn unknowingly raised behind it.
Video of the incident was posted to the Truck Stop Quebec Facebook page where it has quickly racked up over three million views.
Many of the comments on the video have been scathing of the unfortunate truck driver, with one user commenting: "Total idiot. One major key part of driving trucks is to make sure your looking at your mirrors every few seconds to know your surroundings."
The highway was briefly closed after the incident. No one was injured despite the high speed of the crash.
