NZ's medal haul to date: 1 Gold; 3 Silvers; 3 Bronze
A great couple of minutes for the Kiwis, two medals in identical moments for Dawkins and Lewis, nice swim from him in the medley, our first non-cycling medal. That's now seven in total for New Zealand. A total of four medals today and overall that's six track medals and the programme will be very happy with that.
Over in the basketball, NZ lead Nigeria 87-49 in the fourth quarter so a good start for them. That concludes our live updates for tonight, day two, but our live stream will continue until the end of tonight's programme, where you can watch a medal chance for Corey Main in the 100m backstroke and our 400m freestyle team at midnight. 11.28pm: Bronze! Track cycling - Keirin final, featuring NZ's Sam Webster and Eddie Dawkins
Here we go, Dawkins and Webster were in the final four years ago in Glasgow, Webster grabbed a silver, they're underway... Dawkins in fourth, Webster in second early, good spot for Webster, four laps, now Dawkins hits the front, one lap to go, the Kiwis are out of gas ..Dawkins gets up for bronze.
11.22pm: Bronze! Swimming - 400m Individual Medley final featuring NZ's Bradlee Ashby and Lewis Clareburt
Here we go, eight laps of the pool Bradlee Ashby and Lewis Clareburt hunting a rare swimming medal... they're away, Ashby turns second on lap one... Ashby leads after 100m... back to second after 200m ...he slides in the third 100m, but instead it's Lewis Clareburt that comes down the outside in lane seven to grab bronze.
11.15pm: Silver! Track cycling - Women's sprint final GOLD MEDAL RACE - race two in the best of three - Stephanie Morton v NZ's Natasha Hansen
We're away in race two. Big up-hill odds for Kiwi Hansen here, she leads Morton out this time though so she can control the race. Morton likes to lead and now she's in front again. Coming towards the bell, gas is on, Morton in front, Morton opens a gap, she won't be caught, Morton wins gold! Hansen silver, great effort from the 28-year-old.
11.00pm: Track cycling - Women's sprint final GOLD MEDAL RACE - race one in the best of three - Stephanie Morton v NZ's Natasha Hansen
Here we go, Morton's the big favourite here, set the CG record earlier. Cat and mouse, match-racing, the tempo's high, last lap, Morton leads, full gas, Morton leads, down the home straight, Hansen comes late, can't get there. Morton wins the first in the best of three.

Alright, We're into the Keirin semi finals, Webster, Dwakins involved. First three make the final. Dawkins makes an early run. Here we go, both looking good, Webster hits the front , here comes Dawkins, YES, they finish first and second. They're into the six man final at 11.05pm.

Dylan Kennett wins bronze for New Zealand with a time of 4:18.373 in the men's 4000m indivdual pursuit. He dominated his Aussie rival Jordan Kerby with the Kiwi sitting up and cruising in his final lap.
10.26pm: Track cycling - Women's
Kiwi rider Natasha Hansen is through to the women's sprint final after beating Canadian rival Lauriane Genest by a 1mm. She he left it late but she did enough to secure her place in the gold medal race.

The Tall Blacks lead Nigeria 24-15 after the first quarter.
10.10pm: Track cycling - Women's
Women's sprint semi-final - Canada's Lauriane Genest just edges New Zealand's Natasha Hansen at the death. Genest beats Hansen by 0.012 seconds. So it is 1-1, the winner of their next heat will advance to the gold medal race.
10.02pm: Track cycling - Men's
New Zealand's Eddie Dawkins doesn't make the mistake of leaving it late like he did in his first round ride in the keirin and he powers his way into first place. He is through to the second round of the keirin.

New Zealand's rider Bradley Knipe began well in his repechage race but finished last and won't progress to the second round.

New Zealand's Natasha Hansen needs one more win against Canada's Lauriane Genest to secure herself a spot in the final and race for gold.

South Africa's Chad Le Clos comes away with the spoils. He wins gold with the Kiwi swimmers Sam Perry and Daniel Hunter missing out on medals.

New Zealand's Natasha Hansen wins! She catches her Canadian rival off guard and gets out in front in the final lap. She holds on to edge her opponent.

New Zealand's cyclist Natasha Hansen is set to ride in the women's sprint semi-final.

Kiwi rider Eddie Dawkins is happy to start at the back of the pack and he is now making his move to the middle of the pack. Dawkins finishes third in the final heat.

Sam Webster leads the pack in the front at the moment. The Kiwi holds on and he progresses through to the next round finishing second.

It was a tough ask from NZ rider Bradley Knipe to try make his way from the back and challenge for first three placing. Australia's Matt Glaetzer and Canada's Stefan Ritter take out that heat. Sam Webster and Eddie Dawkins are still yet to ride for New Zealand.

The New Zealand Black Stick are victorious winning their second match at the Commonwealth Games 12-0 against Ghana.

Anita McLaren gets another goal for New Zealand after an initial save from the Ghana keeper. She taps the ball into the goal and New Zealand now lead 12-0.
7.53pm: Hockey - Women's
Madison Doar finds herself in the right place at the right as she scores New Zealand's eleventh goal. The Black Sticks lead 11-0 over Ghana.

New Zealand hit double figures and are 10-0 up over Ghana after Amy Robinson deflects the shot from Anita McLaren into the back of the net off a penalty corner.

New Zealand are on fire! The Kiwis go up 9-0 over Ghana after a brilliant backhand sweeping shot from Madison Doar.

Anita McLaren scores a stunner from just inside the inner circle. She tricks the Ghana defender with a fake before launching the ball straight into the back of the net. The Ghana keeper had no chance at stopping that screamer from Anita. New Zealand 8-0 against Ghana.

Samantha Harrison scores New Zealand's seventh goal after a good feed and pass from Kelsey Smith from outside of the inner circle. After Harrison's efforts she goes to the bench.

New Zealand are now 6-0 up over their Ghana rivals in the third quarter. Olivia Merry is they player that scores NZ's sixth goal.

New Zealand go up 5-0 against Ghana after officials award Stacey Michelsen the goal. She gets a stick to the ball after a teammate hits it into the circle and her shot at goal beats the keeper and goes into the back of the net.

The Black Sticks lead Ghana 3-0 with three minutes remaining in the second quarter. Kelsey Smith has been given a green card for a dangerous following through with a shot at the ball. New Zealand are down to 10 players. New Zealand go up 4-0 after an excellent goal by Shiloh Gloyn.

England's Charlie Tanfield finishes on top of the leader-board which means NZ rider Dylan Kennett will race for bronze against Australian rider Jordan Kerby at about 10.30pm tonight.

New Zealand are up 2-0 against Ghana at the moment in the first quarter.

Jared Gray finishes with a time of 4:22.752, he was lapped by his Aussie rival in the final lap.

New Zealand rider Jared Gray is in action against Aussie Jordan Kerby. At the 15000m mark Gray trails his Australian rival by one second.

The women's Black Sticks match is underway as they take on Ghana in their second game at the Commonwealth Games.

England's Laura Massaro has defeated Kiwi Amanda Landers-Murphy 3-0 in the women's singles round of 16.

What a ride! Scotland's John Archibald has recorded a new Games record, beating NZ rider Dylan Kennett's time. Archibald sits on top of the qualifying leader-board after his time of 4:13.068 with Kennett sitting in second place after his time of 4:13.414.

Scottish rider J. Archibald is now in front at the 2500m mark against Kiwi rider Nick Kergozou, he's three seconds ahead and is about to lap the Kiwi.

Nick Kergozou is up against Scottish rival J. Archibald and the Kiwi rider has a slight lead at 1000m mark, ahead by one second against Archibald.

Kiwi lifter Vestor Villalon fails to lift 145kg on his third attempt in the clean and jerk event. He appears to be out of medal contention.

A sensational ride from Dylan Kennett. He has recorded a new Games record with a time of 4:13.414 and he goes on top of the leader-board in the qualifiers.

Dylan Kennett is at the starting line getting ready to face off against Northern Ireland rival X. Young. A strong start from Kennett, at the 1500m mark he is two seconds ahead of Young.

The Kiwi riders aren't too far away. Dylan Kennett, Jared Gray and Nick Kergozou are getting ready at the moment for the 4000m individual pursuit qualifications.

Emma Cumming in action in the women's sprint quarters against Australia's Steph Morton. Come on Emma! Unfortunately, the Aussie powerhouse cruised to victory - it's best of three though.

Emma Cumming with a great ride to beat her opponent from Northern Ireland. The Kiwi led from the front and showed some power to stay there. That means three Kiwi riders in the quarters with Natasha Hansen rounding out the trio.

Vester was unsuccessful with his first snatch attempt at 118kg and he may have hurt himself. He stooped down after his attempted lift. He's with his coaches now

It's all over in the netball with the Ferns running away to a 70-44 victory. There were some nice moments in the second half.

The final of the men's 69kg category is underway, our very own Vester Villalon will be chasing a medal.

Kiwi defending light heavyweight champion David Nyika has just finished his first fight, which he won but you can see he's far from happy with his performance.

It's three quarter time and the Ferns lead 52-36.

Ellesse Andrews in action now on the velodrome in the individual pursuit. The 18-year-old is dominating her South African opponent and she finishes with a time of 3:33.7. Remarkable effort from someone so young.

The Silver Ferns are also back in action after the win over Ghana last night. They lead Wales 3-1 early in the first quarter.

We've got a Kiwi, Laticia Transom, in this heat...and she's finished second, behind an Aussie. Transom, who is based in Australia, had a time of 25.96, that's the second quickest time so far.

Patterson takes sixth in the Snatch. Here's her lifts and a wonderful display of mental strength to come back out and get that 76kg lift!

Heartbreak for Edwards as Rednall takes the final End with the final ball. Edwards was set to tie it with a ball either side of the jack but Rednall splits it down the middle, hits the jack and pushes it to two balls behind to take the win. Rednall takes it 21-17. It's not the end of the world for Edwards. She can still make the playoffs with a couple of games left in section play.

It's going right down to the wire. Rednall leads 19-17 after End 20 but Edwards is right there with her. Rednall is struggling when the jack goes long and Edwards is doing well to capitalise on it when she can.

Patterson comes straight back out for her last attempt... and she gets it! Smiles all around. What a hoist. Great correction. It probably isn't enough for a medal today but a great lift regardless.

Controversy in the Weightlifting as the competitor from Nigeria storms off the stage with the ref denying her of her lift. There's been issues with the identification numbers by officials who are saying they are in the wrong place and demanding athletes to put them somewhere visible. That's what happened here and she's run out of time to lift as a result. Her coach is fired up to. Might hear more about this.

What an end from Edwards. Threads her final ball inside Rednall's and gets three points for her effort! Takes a 10-9 lead after End 11.

The competitor from Nauru has gotten all three of her snatch lifts out the way and taken a personal best of 58kg in the process. She's all smiles. Weightlifting goes from lightest weight to heaviest so with that out of the way, we'll start to see some competition now.

Darn! Edwards with a very nice final ball after End 10 and she taps the jack but it rolls more than she wanted and ends up closer to one of Rednall's. Rednall extends her lead to 9-7 as a result.

We're moments away from the women's 53kg weightlifting final starring our very own Phillippa Patterson! Athletes are just going through their final warm ups.

VERY strong play from Edwards and she ties it up at End Eight! Picks up three points after finding good rhythm on a long jack. 7-7.

Good morning! There's planty more action coming up today with Kiwis involved in 10 different events today!
The Lawn Bowls continues early on this morning while weightlifter Pip Patterson also gets her chance at a medal in the final of the women's 53kg section at 11:40am.
There's plenty more swimming starting at 12:30pm and going right the way through until tonight with gymnastics, boxing and squash all taking place this afternoon as well.
Beach volleyball brothers Ben and Sam O'Dea are also in action, facing off against Cyprus at 12:30pm.
Other team sports New Zealand partaking today include the women's Black Sticks playing Ghana at 6:30pm in the Hockey and the Tall Blacks starting their basketball campaign against Nigeria at 10pm tonight.
Finally, after last night's triumphs there's more cycling action starting at 3pm right the way through to 11pm when the men's keirin final takes place.
