Warriors CEO Cameron George says that the club are doing their best to win back their fans two games into 2018, following their horrendous end to last season.
In a club record nine straight losses, the Warriors couldn't have finished 2017 any worse, although they have begun their new campaign brightly - picking up back to back wins for the first time since 2009 with wins over the Rabbitohs and Titans.
Appearing on TVNZ1's Marae, George said that although the club are happy with where they are, they still have further to go in winning back the supporters.
"Our real interest this year is winning back our fanbase," he said.
"Putting credibility back into our club, and making our fans proud of who we are."
George also said that such a tumultuous end to last season is driving the team forward on and off the field in 2018.
"We needed to change - it was a pretty low point at the conclusion of the 2017 season."
"We're a proud footy club."
