Woman found after wandering off tramping track in Kaimai ranges

A 52-year-old solo tramper has walked herself to safety after wandering off a track at Mt Te Aroha in the Kaimai ranges, Bay of Plenty, yesterday.

After getting lost last night, she contacted police, but lost contact around 1am.

She walked out this morning, and contacted police when she arrived home.
