A US man has been fatally shot while broadcasting himself on Facebook Live.

The 55-year-old North Carolina resident Prentis Robinson was filming himself with a selfie stick when he was approached by the gunman.

Mr Robinson can then be seen telling the shooter "you're on live" before four gun shots were fired.

US police have arrested a person over the shooting.
