Seven Sharp co-host Jeremy Wells has made it his mission to get to know the five candidates for National Party leader on a more personal level.

So, he's embarking on a speed date with each of them.

Tonight, he met Judith Collins in the TVNZ cafe.

He posed some curly questions, including asking Mrs Collins who she thought was the sexiest Prime Minister in NZ history.

"Dear Lord you ask some hard questions," she replied.
