Elderly woman dies after being hit by car in Nelson

An elderly woman has died after being hit by a car at a residential address in Nelson.

According to police, emergency services were called to the address shortly before 3pm.

Police say the woman had sustained serious injuries, which she later died from.

The Serious Crash Unit are investigating the incident.
