Man dies from injuries after Canterbury crash

A man injured in a vehicle crash in Canterbury earlier this month has died.

Ioane Sitivi, a 36-year-old from Fox Glacier, died in Christchurch Hospital on Wednesday from injuries he sustained in the crash on State Highway 73, Waimakariri Gorge Road, on January 9.

Police say the death will be referred to the Coroner.
