A tow truck driver has had a narrow escape during a call-out on an icy Detroit morning this week.

Dashcam video shared by Michigan state police captured the moment the driver dodged death, as an out of control car ploughed into the two vehicles.

The tow truck driver, a police officer and two others involved in the accident were uninjured.
